Lis Wiehl was born August 19th, 1962. She was a former Fox News legal analyst.
She was an adjunct professor in Law at New York Law School and was previously an Associate Professor at University of Washington Law School. She has provided legal commentaries for National Public Radio program and on Bill O'Reilly's radio program, The Radio Factor. She has been a frequent guest on The O'Reilly Factor as well Lou Dobbs Today The Kelly File With Megyn Kelly and Neil Cavuto and The Kelly File.
Wiehl was born and raised in Yakima and went to West Valley High School. She received her degree from Barnard College with a Bachelor's degree from 1983. In 1985, she was awarded the Master of Arts degree in Literature at the University of Queensland. And in 1987 she was awarded the Juris Doctorate at Harvard Law School.
Wiehl was a prosecutor in the US Attorney's office. She served as the legal correspondent for NPR All Things Considered. She was the deputy chief investigating counsel for Democrats in the House Judiciary Committee, during the impeachment of Clinton. She was a tenured professor of law in the University of Washington School of Law, Seattle from 1995-2001 She also directed the Trial Advocacy Program. Wiehl worked as a Fox News Legal Analyst from the year 2001 through 2017.
