Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah, an Indian actress and musician most well known for her performance in Tamil as well as Malayalam films. Annayum Rasoolum was her Malayalam and Tamil debuts in acting. Andrea Jeremiah has been identified as an Anglo-Indian born in Arakkonam Tamil Nadu. Her father works as an attorney in the Madras High Court. She has a younger sister living and working in Leuven Belgium, as a Research Assistant. Jeremiah was raised near Chennai and attended National Public School and graduated from Women's Christian College. Andrea was an eight year old classical musician who was a huge geek. She was part of The Jackson Five style troupe Young Stars aged 10. It was this group that shaped the foundation for her music and singing career. She performed as a stage performer at her college and was a part of in several productions through The Madras Players, EVAM as well as other theatre companies. Andrea was president of Women's Christian College's Student Senate. Andrea began her theatre career through Girish Karnad's Nagamandala.
